A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Procurement Manager, you'll lead procurement strategy for compression packages within our project teams, ensuring seamless sourcing of quality goods and services on time and within budget. You'll drive supply chain excellence from the sales phase onward, optimizing resources and maintaining compliance while contributing to the growth of our Compression business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Early Procurement Strategy- Partner with sales and project teams to identify optimal suppliers and innovative solutions that enhance competitiveness and customer value.
- Establish Standards & Controls-Define sourcing processes, manage resources, and ensure compliance to deliver results within budget, timeline, and quality targets.
- Mitigate Risks & Identify Opportunities-Analyze scope, contractual obligations, and market dynamics to proactively identify and manage risks throughout the project.
- Lead Strategic Negotiations-Conduct complex supplier negotiations based on Total Cost of Ownership to secure optimal conditions and ensure risk mitigation.
- Manage Suppliers & Contracts-Oversee supplier performance, manage scope changes, and coordinate qualification to ensure seamless project execution.
- Drive Transparency & Knowledge Sharing-Monitor resource availability, provide project reports, and share best practices across teams.
What You'll Bring
- Educational Foundation-Bachelor's degree in or Master's in engineering or equivalent.
- Industry & Technical Expertise-Minimum 5 years in SCM, Project Procurement, Proposal, or Project Management within Oil & Gas or Power Generation; proficiency in Compression and/or Gas Turbine equipment preferred.
- Procurement Mastery-Advanced knowledge of sourcing processes, strategic negotiation skills, and cost modeling expertise to drive optimal supplier selection and pricing.
- Technical Proficiency-Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analytics to support project tracking and decision-making.
- Leadership & Communication-Self-directed leader capable of presenting to management level, problem-solving in matrix environments, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Flexibility & Mobility-Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time to support project needs.
