A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Piping Engineer (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will start your day by evaluating technical requirements from customer specifications and reviewing project schedules. You will analyze P&IDs, perform piping calculations, and ensure designs comply with ASME and EN standards. You’ll define material classes, review stress analyses, and coordinate with international teams. Throughout the day, you will supervise design and fabrication quality, ensuring smooth progress and clear communication across all levels.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Definition of pipework specifications for Power Piping in accordance with ASME and EN standards
- Quality assurance of proposal and execution projects for Power Piping including design, fabrication design, procurement, fabrication, transport, installation and certification
- Support of proposal and implementation projects with technical expertise
What You Bring
- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, preferably in Engineering or similar, or technical training with several years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in piping, insulation and plant layout of industrial plants
- Experience in project management as well as in large scale projects (ideally including power plant technologies)
- Advanced knowledge in ASME B31.1 / EN13480 and related material standards
- Experience in AutoCAD and Probad or similar
- Fluent in German and good English
- High communication skills and willingness to travel internationally
