As Hub Sales Manager for the Transactional Business Hub Sales, you’ll spearhead the discovery, pursuit, and successful closure of Modernization & Upgrades business opportunities. In this pivotal role, you’ll dive deep into understanding our customers’ needs, transforming them into strategic solutions and compelling bid strategies. You’ll lead the charge in sales activities, securing orders and driving success.
You’ll immerse yourself in the world of cutting-edge global technology solutions, expanding your technical expertise and knowledge. You’ll collaborate with dynamic international teams, enhancing your network and gaining recognition across borders. As a technical expert, you’ll engage directly with our customers, showcasing and explaining our innovative solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact
- · Technical sales of Large Gas Turbine (LGT) Modernization and Upgrade (M&U) products in the Region Asia Pacific, including sourcing, developing and closing projects
- · Drive M&U projects as well as major service opportunities to achieve business targets by understanding customer drivers and creating a unique Monetized Value Proposition
- · Lead interdisciplinary and international negotiation teams for LGT M&U projects together with the Country Sales and the back-office organizations from Engineering and Operations
- · Define, in alignment with the Country Sales, the Project and Customer Sales Strategy
- · Understand and update market and customer requirements/trends for related product developments
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration with technical background or any other related discipline
- Independent and strong self-starter
- Understanding of power plants operations and equipment (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators)
- Experience in power industry in Asia Pacific
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, project management or engineering function
- Experience in an intercultural environment with cross-regional working team
- Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50%)
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
