A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of the Cilegon Service Center, you will oversee shop and office personnel responsible for critical turbomachinery equipment repairs. Your primary responsibilities will include prioritizing shop work, developing tasks for employees, and ensuring that both internal and external delivery dates are met. You will manage the shop’s P&L, forecast, and report to Finance and upper management. Collaboration with Safety and Quality managers will be essential to monitor and maintain policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain a customer feedback database and initiate complaint/NCC resolution. You will actively support business development efforts by engaging with customers as needed, providing technical expertise to strengthen sales opportunities. This role requires proactive collaboration with the sales team to help influence customer decisions and drive growth through technical credibility and relationship-building.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage all staff, including indirect and direct labor employees.
- Prioritize shop work and develop tasks to meet delivery dates.
- Oversee shop P&L, forecasting, and reporting to Finance and upper management.
- Collaborate with Safety and Quality managers to uphold policies and procedures.
- Maintain customer feedback database and address complaints/NCC resolutions.
- Identify and implement Lean strategies to enhance service quality, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure safety performance and on-time delivery of projects.
- Monitor quote response time and customer satisfaction.
- Address the cost of poor quality.
- Review contractual terms and conditions for service specifications.
- Act as a liaison between sales accounts and the shop regarding status, scope changes, hold points, etc.
- Facilitate employee training.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 10+ years of work experience in a client service or leadership role within a manufacturing or a repair facility.
- Strong capability in project management with the ability to plan and lead manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity and experience with repairs of rotating equipment (steam turbine, gas turbine, reciprocating and turbo compressors, valves and dry gas seals).
- Experience in organizations with a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of service-related manufacturing equipment.
- Preferred experience with vacuum furnace operations, HVOF coating booth operations, CNC programming, materials evaluations, Siemens quality systems, and CMM measurements.
- Familiarity with Siemens Energy systems and processes is an added advantage.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with strong networking, negotiating, and influencing abilities.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment, with proven interpersonal skills to engage successfully with diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (estimated 10%).

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
