A Snapshot of Your Day
Make project specific control solutions according to Siemens Energy design standards, fulfill the task and target set by the company, solve the problems happened during factory test, site erection & commissioning and provide technical support and trouble shooting.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As the gas turbine control system engineer, the responsibilities include control system Project Execution; as well as Sales & Proposal support as needed.
Project Execution includes:
• Config and modify control system software (PCS7 or T3000) to meet project specific requirements.
• Configure control system PC including AS, OS, ES, and Batch systems to meet project-specific requirements.
• Create Bill of Material for control system hardware.
• Set up and maintain robust Server-Client architectures, incorporating redundancy and virtualization for efficient performance.
• Install and configure HMI software such as Siemens PCS7 or T3000, WinCC, and Wonderware, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
• Support implementing detailed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures to validate system functionality.
• Build and implement industrial Ethernet networks, optimising performance and reliability for our automation systems.
Sales & Proposal support include:
• Evaluates, reviews, and applies specifications and other technical documents, participates in customer clarification meetings, defines the control system scope to meet customer requirements, provides the cost calculation and technical documents.
• Participate in customer negotiation meetings in China as required.
What You Bring
• Bachelor degree or above in Control engineering with emphasis on power generation is preferred.
• 3~5 years’ experience in control system engineering, commissioning as well as instrumentation and measurement technology.
• Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
• Self-motivated with strong customer focus
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong emphasis on quality of work and Siemens Energy values
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English and in Chinese and to interface with in a wide range of organizations both internally and externally.
• Experience in T3000/PCS7 is preferred
