Technical Support in mechanical systems or equipment (BoP for SE customers (remote and local mode) focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization

Support internal teams in preparing proposals for sales, commissioning, modernization and expansion services for industrial or power Generation plants

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Provide expert technical support for boiler systems in thermal power plants, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Conduct root cause analysis of boiler-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to maximize boiler reliability and availability.
• Assist in the design and implementation of upgrades and modifications to boiler systems to improve performance and efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on boiler operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to boiler systems and thermal power plants.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation related to boiler performance, maintenance activities, and incident investigations.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in boiler technology are a plus.
• Experience in boiler systems within thermal power plants, with a strong focus on technical support and maintenance. Experience in boiler systems working within manufacturers (development, engineering or testing)
• In-depth knowledge of boiler design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to boiler systems and thermal power plants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to boiler systems.
• English (Intermediate) / Spanish (Basic)
• Willingness to travel to various plant locations as required in Brazil and Argentina and Latam, also. 50%-60% of the time.
• Travel is also for training (office and/or training on job)
• Soft skills: Results orientation, Customer Satisfaction, Multicultural work.
