A Snapshot of Your Day

The team has an open atmosphere where we support and help each other. As an electrical engineer, you are responsible for electrical design in our development projects and sustaining of the standard solutions. The assignments are varied so you always get the chance to learn new tasks, but the big common challenge is to adapt new designs / solutions to fit together with the old / existing solutions.

For the control system projects, we mainly work with the development of a standard solution. The next step in the process is to transfer the project to validation phase there the standard is tested. After that the project is handed over to the delivery department. As an electrical engineer, you have the possibility to be part of the delivery team and later also participate in the commissioning. During the commissioning the task is to support during the first introduction at a customer facility and get feedback that the design / solution works as intended.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As an Electrical engineer, your assignment is to be responsible for the development of solutions in electrical design linked to the turbine control system standard.
  • You have great opportunities to develop in the role as an electrical engineer. In our team we have all the steps from development, delivery, troubleshooting and commissioning for both new delivery and upgrade projects.
  • You will contribute to the development and streamlining of our control systems' products.

What You Bring

  • Professional Training, License or Integrated Bachelors/Masters in Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Control and Instrumentation (Energy and / or Automation and Control Systems).
  • 5+ years’ experience in controls system hardware design.
  • Interest in areas like Electricity, Technical Design/Drawing, Control and Digital Systems.
  • Good knowledge of the electrical design tools COMOS and AutoCad. EPLAN experience is valued.
  • Have good ability to express yourself in English in speech and in writing.
  • Responsibility, ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

Our experienced Budapest Engineering Centre of Competence team - consisting of 160+ qualified engineers - provides services for instrumentation & control, electrical and mechanical engineering and now for sales support.
