A Snapshot of Your Day
Our department is responsible for project management of the Control & Protection segment of HVDC transmission systems, particularly the timely and efficient preparation of bids in a complex multi-project environment.
As an integral part of the bidding team, you will support the head of the department in streamlining and improving bid preparation processes for HVDC transmission systems (calculation, documentation, scheduling). You’ll play a key role in ensuring consistently high bid quality by developing standardized templates, conducting lessons learned reviews, and ensuring accurate calculations and documentation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support in cross-departmental resource planning and systematic project execution, including maintenance of project overview and key data
- Contribute to the standardization of bid preparation, including calculation, documentation, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement bid concepts with underlying templates, and a cross-bid and cross execution lessons-learned process, to optimize future bids.
- Support bid reviews and perform detailed analyses to enhance overall bidding quality.
- Lead internal improvement measures and projects
- Implement setup, quality review, and analysis of project calculations
What You Bring
- University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Experience in process improvement, business administration, project management, or strategy/consulting.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross-departmental, multinational teams.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with an ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel
