A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the efficiency of our internal controls and operational processes, while developing and performing detailed audit plans to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your analytical skills will be essential as you identify root causes of audit findings, present actionable recommendations to management, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions across various business units, all while staying informed on emerging risks and trends in the industry.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform thorough and risk-focused internal audits to evaluate the efficiency of the organization’s internal controls, financial systems, and operational workflows.
• Create and implement detailed audit strategies, encompassing scoping, testing, and documentation, to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Review audit results, pinpoint underlying issues, and provide actionable insights to management aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and reducing risks.
• Oversee the execution of audit recommendations and assess the success of corrective measures implemented by different business units.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging risks, and regulatory updates to refine audit practices and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Engage in special projects or ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What You Bring

• Strong past performance in academics (finance, IT, business, engineering, legal, mathematics, or others; CPA, MBA, or Data Analytics Master education desirable but not required)
• 5+ years of experience (‘hot skill’) in at least one of the following or similar areas: Accounting, Data Analytics, Technology & Innovation, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or Strategy
• Preference towards candidates that have worked in an international business setting, a Big4 accounting firm or consulting, and have experiences working and communicating with multiple cultures.
• Desire and potential to develop into future leadership roles within Siemens Energy as your next career step.
• Dedication to continuous learning and to global travel up to 40%.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
