A Snapshot of Your Day

As an EHS Specialist at Siemens Energy, your day will be dedicated to fostering a positive health and safety culture within the workplace. You will conduct daily inspections, lead training sessions for employees and managers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies. Collaborating closely with the EHS manager and other stakeholders, you will document non-conformances, perform risk assessments, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with safety legislation.
  • Conduct daily inspections and lead training sessions on health and safety issues.
  • Document non-conformances and implement measures for their prompt elimination.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare weekly reports and participate in meetings to discuss EHS-related issues.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety, preferably in a power plant.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is a plus.
  • Strong command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of local EHS legislation, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 requirements.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. ​
