Siemens Energy is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Intern to support our engineering, digitalization, and AI driven initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience with real project data, engineering tools, and exposure to industry-leading energy technologies. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects, improve engineering databases, and contribute to our AI integration efforts.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assist engineering teams in Mechanical or Electrical design review, documentation, and technical coordination.
• Support the collection, validation, and structuring of engineering data for project use.
• Update and maintain internal engineering databases, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Work with the digitalization team to prepare engineering datasets for AI and machine-learning applications.
• Support model or document review activities (e.g., HVAC, F&G, electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, etc.).
• Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and project deliverables.
• Participate in meetings with project engineers, project managers, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Provide general engineering support for ongoing projects within Siemens Energy.
• Contribute to process improvement ideas, especially in digital transformation and AI adoption.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Available for a minimum 6 month full-time internship.
• Familiarity with engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, P&ID readers, engineering databases) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of data management or AI concepts is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
