Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer
Snapshot of your day
You will be part of a growing function in a position that entails a large responsibility and represent Supply Chain Quality in cross functional meetings and strongly collaboration with Procurement, Project Management, Manufacturing & Logistics, Project Engineering and Project Quality Management with a shared target to secure qualified deliveries from qualified suppliers.
We work in a multi-cultural environment with contacts with different departments locally and globally. Networking is a key for success!
How you can make a difference
In the role you will work with specific purchasing areas and their suppliers to:
- Coordinate and drive activities to ensure that the right actions are taken at the right time through the various phases of the deviation report.
- Ensure that suppliers conduct accurate root cause analyses (RCA) and that the actions implemented by the suppliers prevent recurrence.
- Develops profitable vendor relationships.
- Actively analyze statistics related to supplier-caused quality deficiencies to verify and validate the actions taken, as well as to detect any recurring deviations.
- Prepare documentation and statistics for recurring meetings such as Supplier Performance Review, NCC Q-gate, supplier meetings, etc.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvements by developing the processes you work in.
- Develops KPIs for vendor selection.
- Collaborates with business partners on vendor management to meet business needs.
- May oversee delivery from vendor and evaluate vendor performance/impact on business outcomes.
Opportunity for a Combined Role
This role can be advantageously combined with assignments of a more strategic nature, such as Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). As an SQE, you will work alongside strategic purchasing on the qualification of suppliers and products. Our team consists of 15 people, with both SQA and SQE roles represented.
What you bring
- Minimum bachelor's degree within relevant area (machine, automation, electronics)
- Technical experience with industrial process technology.
- Experience in quality, purchasing or production, preferably with a connection to electrical engineering, is advantageous.
- Specific experience in electrical installations, switchgear, control cabinets, or electromagnetic motors is highly advantageous.
- Experience in the qualification of suppliers – Supplier Auditor experience and work within automotive industry meritoriously.
- Profound knowledge in the application of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish is highly advantageous.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally.

As a person you work structured and analytical and have an interest in and understanding of how different functions within a company operate, insight into how to improve collaboration between them, and a strong passion for quality.
The role demands working with different people, both internally within the company you work for and externally. You have a positive attitude, outgoing nature, and relationship-building skills are qualities that describe you well.
