The role involves providing commercial and proposal support for the development of energy service orders and projects, which includes Master Frame Agreements, Long Term Service Agreements, sophisticated modification and upgrade projects, as well as coordinated solutions opportunities! Additionally, it entails supporting the preparation and presentation of opportunities throughout the bid process for the Gas Services North America Sales organization. The position requires working in a dynamic environment, where financial expertise is brought to the bid, proposal, and contract execution processes in support of the sales team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Review and analyze financial and commercial components of internal/external customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
• Together with the Sales Lead, Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager ensure the accuracy of the cost and pricing calculation during contract renegotiations.
• Identify and support the development of strategies, efficiencies, and responsibilities to turn service proposals into orders and improve alignment/consistency of processes.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy and local accounting guidelines.
• Improve clarity and reporting capabilities on wins, losses and other sales related metrics

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting
• 5-8 years of professional experience in Finance, candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa. Required amount of travel ~10%
• Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and experience within project management, marketing, or cost estimation
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Candidate should be able to effectively communicate technical financial information to non-financial internal customers and have experience and desire to automate through group digitalization projects
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
