This position is a new addition to support the Commercial Project Management (CPM) team within the Controls & Digitalization unit for Latin America. The role is requested as an Intern to provide auxiliary support for project execution activities, addressing a need for increased capacity in financial administration and reporting. To meet this business need, the role will focus on two core areas: Project Financial Administration and Financial Data Analysis. This involves supporting the CPM team with day-to-day financial tasks such as reporting and expense management, as well as conducting basic analysis of project financial data to ensure accuracy and control. Given the focus on foundational financial support, the ideal candidate is a current student pursuing a degree in an administrative or economic field. Key requirements include proficiency with data tools like Excel and Power BI, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. No prior professional experience is necessary.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 60% Project Financial Administration & Reporting
- Support the Commercial Project Management (CPM) area with reporting activities.
- Manage the activation and processing of time-sheets and travel expenses.
- Assist with clearing transitory and balance sheet accounts in collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager.
- Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable to monitor cash-in and cash-out flows.
- 40% Financial Data Analysis & Monitoring
- Analyze financial information and monitor standard project reports for discrepancies or trends.
- Support the preparation of data for financial reviews and presentations.
- Maintain and update logs related to project financial transactions and status.
Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in administrative fields, Economics, Business Administration, or Actuarial Science.
- No prior professional experience is required as this is a trainee/intern position.
