A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a working student in Strategy Execution, you will support the project management team in the development and implementation of internal projects within the Grid Technologies business area. This includes, among other things, analyzing business data, creating presentation materials, and developing new business concepts. You will start your day by preparing a presentation, which you will then discuss with your team. You will analyze market data using Excel and subsequently visualize it within the Tableau software environment. In your daily work, you will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and support the implementation of large-scale projects.

This role provides you with insights into the various business units of Siemens Energy Grid Technologies and offers you the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the energy transition. Depending on the selected topic, there may be an opportunity to write a master’s thesis in cooperation with Siemens Energy during your working student position.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Support the execution of strategy projects and internal consulting projects (e.g., competitor benchmarking) for Grid Technologies
  • Create presentations and other materials for internal project communication
  • Collect, process, and analyze business data required for the projects through internet research and other available sources
  • Support individual project team members in delivering project results on time
  • Assist with project meetings and the preparation of documents for management meetings
What You Bring
  • Currently enrolled in a technical, business, commercial, or a comparable field of study
  • Curiosity for corporate strategy methodologies and strong communication skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams; knowledge of SharePoint and Tableau is an advantage
  • Initial experience as a working student or intern in management consulting or a strategy department is an advantage
  • Careful, well-structured, organized, and independent working style
  • Fluency in English or German
