A Snapshot of Your Day 

This working student role supports the Digital Technology team in advancing digitalization initiatives. The focus is on developing low‑code applications with Mendix and assisting with project and data tasks, including system integration. The ideal candidate is a technically oriented student with interest in software development and digitalization, basic programming knowledge, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying Mendix low‑code applications to support shopfloor digitalization
  • Translate manufacturing user requirements into functional application features in collaboration with the project team
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and quality assurance of Mendix applications
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed solutions
  • Support system and data integration by connecting Mendix applications with shopfloor data sources and enterprise systems
  • Assist with data preparation, basic reporting tasks, and provide technical support during rollout and troubleshooting

What You Bring 
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, or a related field, ideally with initial practical experience in software development
  • Foundational knowledge in low‑code development (Mendix), web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript), and database fundamentals (SQL)
  • Basic understanding of data integration and ETL processes (e.g., Snowflake, AWS)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, high learning agility, initiative, and a results‑driven mindset
  • Strong interest in digitalization, manufacturing processes, and low‑code development; proficient in English, with German as a plus
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
