Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly motivated and proficient Working Student to join our Technology Development Group at the Innovation Center Berlin. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. You will be part of our multilingual and international team, making intercultural and good communication skills essential.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Assistance in the building and operation of complex data pipelines, data extraction from various sources, and execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks, to ensure data structure and quality for analysis and visualization
  • Support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of data applications and reports that provide relevant information and bring value for collaborators, hence supporting decision-making
  • Support in the implementation of pioneering IT applications, establishment of innovative work practices, and harnessing groundbreaking technologies to drive technological advancement for innovation activities in the energy sector.
  • Collaboration with team members on simplification, standardization, and lean improvements of administrative processes to eliminate waste activities and improve efficiency
  • Work with Office 365 tools, particularly Excel/VBA and Power BI
  • Use of data analytics tools, like Alteryx and possibly Tableau

What You Bring
  • Current studies in Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • Familiarity with Office 365 as well as proficient at PowerPoint, Excel, VBA and PowerBI; experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a technical environment as well as first experiences in project environment
  • Fast perception and excellent process understanding - lean experience is a plus
  • Independent and proactive way of working with attention to detail as well as excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in German and English as well as intercultural experience, good communication skills and interest in working globally
