How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Support the development of large-scale Battery Energy Storage design calculation/simulations
  • Developing REST APIs for design tools
  • Integrate Excel-based tools with other software components (e.g., via REST APIs or scripting)
  • Maintain and update existing Excel-based database and integrating new functionalities
  • Documentation of the interfaces, including Excel tool usage and integration points
  • Work independently while optimally managing your time and responsibilities
What You Bring
  • Current studies in the technical or scientific field, preferably in computer science/software engineering or electrical engineering; Longer-term weekly capacity of approximately 10-20 hours, remaining study time >2 semesters
  • Proficient in programming (e.g. Python, C++, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Practical experience with REST APIs / Knowledge of web interfaces (RESTful API, XML, JSON)
  • Basic understanding of agile working methodologies, DevOps practices and CI/CD processes and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated features (formulas, integration with external tools)
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, reliability, and a collaborative attitude
  • Fluent English skills, German is a plus
