A Snapshot of Your Day 

Be part of the digitalization team in the Project Entity Business Unit and give to the development of innovative AI projects. Tackle data analysis tasks, build pipelines for data preprocessing, and prepare data to be AI-ready. Support the creation of prompts to achieve the highest quality results from LLMs, and conduct POCs and research to identify the most effective approaches for various use cases. Use your communication skills to raise general awareness about GenAI and stay informed about the latest advancements in GenAI research. Document and present your findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to support internal knowledge sharing. Bring fresh ideas and new points of view to the team and make use of learning opportunities to continuously enhance your skills in AI and digital technologies.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Actively engage in AI projects, playing a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our digitalization efforts, giving to successful delivery of large-scale EPC projects
  • Provide the foundation for AI readiness through your work in data analysis and pipeline setup
  • Support the team’s growth and adaptability with your ideas and proactive approach, ensuring that Siemens Energy remains competitive and responsive to industry changes
What You Bring
  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Engineering with a focus on digitalization or computer science
  • Practical programming skills in Python and experience with Data Analytics; Git experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLMs, and interest in concepts such as RAG and Agentic AI systems
  • Proactive, responsible, and willing to take ownership of tasks
  • Strong interest in digitalization, curiosity, and eagerness to stay updated on emerging AI trends
  • Regular availability to work on-site in Erlangen; fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
