Location: Site across KSA - Office Base Jeddah
A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves close coordination with the FS Shift Lead and FS Engineer to ensure all maintenance activities on gas and steam turbines are executed safely, accurately, and in full compliance with Siemens Energy Quality and EHS standards while traveling to customer power plants across KSA and abroad. You interpret technical documents, supervise subcontractors, complete detailed service documentation, and actively lead safety practices to maintain a strong safety culture in high‑risk working environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate closely with FS Shift Leads and FS Engineers to ensure full compliance with Siemens Energy Quality, EHS standards, and project documentation.
- Travel across KSA and internationally to deliver maintenance, inspections, overhauls, repairs, and modifications on large gas and steam turbines.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, OEM specifications, and work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise subcontractors on site, ensuring all activities meet safety, quality, and performance requirements.
- Champion a strong safety culture by leading EHS programs, risk assessments, pre‑job briefings, and strict adherence to PPE and hazard controls.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience working on large, advanced‑frame gas turbines, supported by a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Highly mobile role requiring 200–250 days of travel per year (up to 80%), with international assignments lasting 2–10 weeks and extended shift schedules.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including expert use of precision tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, and a solid understanding of FME principles.
- Excellent technical capability, able to read and execute detailed mechanical drawings, OEM specifications, and work instructions accurately.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written), with certification or training in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
