A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)


Seeking a turbine blade technician for day shift who can perform a variety of tasks to include but not limited to deblading, wheel/blade inspection, manufacturing shroud, peening tenons, installing seals and ensuring compliance with specification and quality requirements. This position required experience working on steam turbine rotating and stationary equipment

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Install and removal of a variety of OEM blade styles on various rotating equipment designs
  • Install/fit/modify blades, seals, and keys to tight tolerances
  • Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Basic use of mills, presses, grinding machines
  • Experience use of micrometers, dial gauges, and other precision measurement instruments
  • High School level education is not required but preferred
  • Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing prints
  • Basic computer skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience blading and repair of rotating steam turbines
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
