As a Technical Expert Digital Grid, you work closely with regional sales teams to qualify opportunities and prepare well-structured, technically sound proposals. You support customer workshops by helping translate requirements into suitable, scalable Digital Grid solutions. Throughout the day, you collaborate with product, marketing, and new colleagues, sharing insights and trends that support the development of our portfolio and regional growth.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Acts as the technical anchor for regional GT Sales, enabling Front-End Sales to position and bid Digital Grid solutions using standardized, scalable offerings with minimal reliance on central execution units.
• Accelerates lead conversion by providing first-level technical support and enhancing regional proposal templates and reusable content for fast, consistent, and high-quality responses.
• Strengthens sales capabilities by delivering targeted onboarding, mentoring junior technical experts, and fostering a collaborative learning culture across the sales organization.
• Adds strategic value by analyzing regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform portfolio development and refine go-to-market strategies.
• Drives portfolio scalability by maintaining a modular, templated Digital Grid offering that supports efficient regional deployment while ensuring technical consistency and compliance.
• Contributes to long-term sales success by combining technical expertise, market insight, and structured knowledge sharing to support sustainable business growth.

What You Bring 

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Energy Technology, or related field, with deep power system knowledge.
• Technical Expertise: 5+ years in power systems, grid automation, or digital grid solutions, ideally in utilities, TSO/ISO, or tech providers; sales experience a plus.
• Solution Mastery: Proven skill in converting customer needs into scalable, standardized technical solutions and polished proposals.
• Sales Acumen: Familiarity with CRM, sales processes, funnel management, and data-driven forecasting accuracy. 
• Content Leadership: Experience crafting technical sales assets like templates, architectures, and standards to empower teams
• Interpersonal Edge: Exceptional communication, proactive market insight, mentoring passion, English fluency (regional languages advantageous).
