A Snapshot of Your Day
Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. One focus aspect of T3000 is to ensure highest quality for our customers. As a T3000 Lead Tester (f/m/d) in controls system you are responsible for the planning, implementation and documentation of test activities. You work in an agile development process and create your test cases based on the user stories derived from the requirements. You will ensure the quality of our product through functional testing. You are part of a global and interdisciplinary team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan, complete, and document the test results of feature-based tests
- Drive, define and review the security testing strategy
- Identify problems reported internally or from the field, conduct evaluation, root cause analysis and plan/release error corrections
- Drive technical clarifications across agile teams and participate in communities of practice
- Provide support to the T3000 hotline and training center for questions and problems, including training on new functionalities
- Advise product managers and product owners on defining requirements
What You Bring
- B.Eng. / Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering, Master of Science, or comparable training with several years of professional experience
- Practical experience (planning, project planning and commissioning) in the field of control technology systems, preferably power plants (including renewable energies such as wind, solar, etc.) and knowledge of distributed control systems and design
- Experience in risk assessment, information security, data protection and related regulations are additional necessary as well experience in agile development process (SAFe) is a plus
- Experience in test automation, preferably with QF-Test and Selenium
- Cyber security skills like network and system administration (Linux and Windows based), penetration testing, hardening, malware protection and vulnerability are a basic need as well as solid background in patch handling for system maintenance and security services
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
