This is a 16-month contract role within the Procurement team in the Philippines, established to support a new Interim Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract. The SCM Professional will be responsible for setting up and managing the end-to-end procurement framework — spanning strategic sourcing, contract & commercial management, and operational procurement — to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a subject matter expert with deep industrial or energy sector procurement experience, strong contract negotiation skills, and SAP proficiency to manage complex procurement processes with a high degree of autonomy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the O&M project, conducting market research to identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers while ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance monitoring through KPIs, and relationship management to foster strategic partnerships.
• Act as the primary liaison between the O&M project team and the procurement function, ensuring seamless information flow and alignment on strategic goals.
• Lead negotiation of pricing, terms, and conditions for complex procurement contracts, overseeing full contract administration in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
• Manage contract risks and resolve commercial disputes, while overseeing end-to-end procurement processes in SAP from purchase requisition to payment.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, forecast demand, and report on key performance indicators, while coaching junior professionals and driving continuous process improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent; with 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain management.
• Proven track record managing large, complex procurement projects in the energy, power generation, or industrial O&M sector with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance management, with the ability to develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated contract management and negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, with strong analytical skills to interpret procurement data, manage budgets, and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strategic vendor relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
