A Snapshot of Your Day
The Supplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supporting the Gas Services Regional Service Latin America business by qualifying, monitoring, and developing suppliers globally.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supplier Qualification: Support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management systems & processes.
- Perform supplier oversight and source inspections for products and services in Latin America region. Inspections performed to ensure product quality and conformance to standards, specifications, drawings, etc.
- root cause analysis and define appropriate risk mitigation measures at the supplier. Track implementation and effectiveness of measures.
- Nonconformance Management: Identify and initiate containment on any identified non-conformances. Follow-up with corrective action as necessary.
What You Bring
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
● At least 8-10 years preferred professional experience in supplier quality management or quality management.
● You have technical experience with manufacturing processes (machining, welding, cutting, coating, special processes, etc.).
● You have experience performing supplier qualification, product/process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global quality and cost-effective supply base.
● Must have experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
● Must have experience with International Quality Standards (ISO 9001,14001, 45001, etc.).
● Experience in working with virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.
● You are a self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.
● Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
● Must be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. (Speaking and Writing).

Through our Generation division, we enhance and innovate conventional and renewable power supply. Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform power generation applications.
