Snapshot of your day

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the material field of Generator specifics, you are a team player with leadership qualities within the purchasing department. You will conduct qualifications of suppliers located worldwide and will also deal with complaints in day-to-day operations by performing root cause analyses and implementing preventive and risk mitigation measures. In this role, you will collaborate in a global environment with diverse cultures and various departments at both local and global levels.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Leading a cross-functional team to conduct product and process qualifications at suppliers.
  • Monitoring supplier quality performance, analyzing quality incidents and risks, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  • Initiating and implementing quality improvement programs at suppliers.
  • Integrating purchasing-related aspects into the product development process, promoting early supplier involvement, and ensuring that supplier feedback is considered in product definition.
  • Planning and conducting regular supplier audits.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in an engineering/technical field.
  • Several years of professional experience in Supplier Quality Management or Manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and testing processes for Generator relevant components
  • Knowledge of SAP modules in Materials Management and Quality Management.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally.

About the Team

You will work in a dynamic team of approximately 20 quality engineers in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. At the same time, you will be part of an international team for supplier quality management and development, making a significant contribution to the global energy transition.
