A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Solution Engineer – Electrical & Protection, you will manage end-to-end engineering activities across multiple projects, from early concept development through detailed design, testing, and commissioning. You will work closely with project teams, customers, and sales to deliver technically compliant and innovative electrical and protection solutions for power generation and grid-related applications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead conceptual, basic, and detailed design of electrical and protection solutions for power generation plants and substations
• Execute factory acceptance testing (FAT) and onsite commissioning of electrical protection, excitation systems, and secondary systems
• Translate customer and network requirements into robust, compliant technical solutions
• Provide technical input and risk evaluation for bids, tenders, and project execution
• Support project delivery through coordination with internal teams and external subcontractors
• Proactively promote innovation, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle

What You Bring 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Extensive experience in design and commissioning of large-scale electrical solutions and power generation systems
• Strong expertise in excitation systems, automatic voltage regulators (AVR), switchgear, and electrical protection systems
• Solid understanding of protection philosophies, relay settings, and secondary systems for substations and networks
• Working knowledge of IEC 61850, IEC 61508, and IEC 61511 standards (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and customer organizations

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
