What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments – including an eight-month international placement – you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
You will join the Offshore Wind Power Project Management finance team, where you will develop into a future commercial or site project manager through a structured rotation across commercial project management, on-site support, and project coordination. This role offers exposure to high-priority international projects, including involvement in large-scale claims, arbitration, and complex commercial activities across the project lifecycle.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Support commercial project management activities, including cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of commercial claims and arbitration cases
- Review contracts to identify risks, deviations, and potential change orders
- Provide on-site commercial support, including cost tracking and supplier coordination in international project environments
- Collaborate with project teams by coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, and tracking progress
- Contribute to risk management processes and support project setup and ramp-up phases
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or a related field
- Up to 2 years of experience (including internships) in project management, construction, finance, or the energy sector
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in commercial project management and the energy industry
- Solid understanding of financial and commercial topics such as budgeting, procurement, and risk management
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in international, cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as German or Polish are a plus
