A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Service Engineer for Gas Turbine Commissioning, you will lead the installation, cold and hot commissioning, and startup of large gas turbines and auxiliary systems at project sites worldwide. Working within a global project team, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver commissioning activities in line with contractual requirements, company procedures, and project schedules. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, clear progress reporting, and effective stakeholder communication. You will also promote a zero-harm safety culture by ensuring all work complies with the highest safety standards. This position involves extensive international travel and the opportunity to support the successful delivery of critical power generation projects.



How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Perform cold and hot commissioning of gas turbines and auxiliary systems, from individual components to full system startup, including functional testing and logic interlock verification.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support commissioning and installation activities with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager, ensuring execution aligns with contractual requirements.
  • Implement commissioning design changes, prepare as-built documentation mark-ups, and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical and schedule issues, escalating complex challenges when required while providing expert technical support to project teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with project teams by delivering detailed daily progress reports, tracking commissioning activities, and providing technical recommendations to customers based on project specifications.Champion a zero-harm safety culture by ensuring all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the highest safety, quality, and industry standards.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering, or a High School Diploma with relevant industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in commissioning and troubleshooting within power generation, oil & gas, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical equipment and documentation, with experience in power plant, oil & gas, or gas turbine operations and maintenance considered an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT applications, with strong analytical skills and an affinity for technology and innovation.
  • Proactive, self-motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within international teams.
  • Willing to travel extensively (up to 100%), typically spending around 200 days per year on worldwide project sites.Proficient in English (written and oral); other languages are beneficial
