We’re looking for passionate and brilliant engineers to be part of global PDS (Power Diagnostic Service) team, based in Suzhou. This individual will continuously track our customer power plant operational status, timely provide technical recommendation to ensure stable and efficient operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

This position will focus on support of Siemens Energy heavy duty gas turbines in China Mainland to prepare monthly operational analysis and incident analysis under LTP obligation.  You need be able to go to customer side to help fix Win-TS issue to ensure operational data quality.  What’s more, you need to be able to go to site to perform trouble shooting, combustion tuning analysis… You need be able to support engineering to perform fleet analysis of mainland fleet.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor, Master or comparable engineering degrees on Mechanical, Electric and control Engineering or related disciplines 

• Solid knowledge on Gas Turbine technology and/ power plant technology

• Good understanding of fundamentals of turbo machinery equipment 

• Good verbal and written communications skills in Chinese and English

• Basic knowledge on I&C, hot commissioning, combustion tuning is beneficial

• German language or other Asian language (e.g. Korean, Japanese) is beneficial

• Have a drive to find the optimum solution to technical problems with the aim to increase customer satisfaction: Understands the regional needs; Develop recommendations for solutions based on practical and theoretical experience; Works together with the engineering departments to develop the solutions to meet the requirements

• Have good presentation skills

• Have a broad intercultural experience and like to work within international teams

• Strong interest to increase the knowledge on technology and tools in order to achieve better results

The team is consisted of different function set up of engineers in the region, including generator service support, BOP (balance of plant) support, PDS (power diagnostic service), gas turbine service support…each function is tightly integrated with HQ team in Germany or USA. By doing this, we have technical depth and customer intimacy, together we provide our professional technical solutions to our internal and external customers.
