A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Administrator for our COMOS PLM team, you will design and implement solutions that enable cost optimization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement on our Azure platform, supporting approximately 800 users daily.
You will collaborate closely with internal and external platform team members, the IT Service Owner, business tool owners, and Microsoft Azure Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) to build, secure, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions. Your contributions will directly support Siemens Energy’s digital transformation and sustainable energy mission.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud environments while driving cloud modernization, performance improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes using Terraform, ARM Templates, and PowerShell to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Ensure platform availability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Strengthen cloud security by implementing governance standards, identity protection, privileged access management, and Azure security best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, application owners, and global stakeholders to deliver robust cloud solutions while promoting operational excellence through automation, documentation, and process standardization.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of strong experience managing Microsoft Azure environments including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, NSGs, Availability Sets, and Recovery Services.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, PowerShell), Git-based CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, Windows Server administration, networking, and enterprise IT operations.
- Experience with Azure security services, backup and disaster recovery solutions, business continuity planning, and proactive monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Good understanding of SQL Server fundamentals, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and secure connectivity concepts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
- A continuous learning mindset and passion for cloud technologies, automation, and operational excellence.
