A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Professional for Grid Technologies BeLux, you will play a key role in shaping the energy transition in Belgium and Luxembourg.
You will be at the forefront of strategic infrastructure projects, working closely with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and industrial customers to build long-term partnerships and deliver innovative solutions across high-voltage equipment, substations, digital grid, and services.
Within a dynamic and collaborative team, you will define and execute commercial strategies, ensuring Siemens Energy remains a trusted partner for critical grid projects in the region.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Commercial Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Grid Technologies portfolio in Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in a rapidly evolving energy market.
- Contribute to major infrastructure projects supporting decarbonization, grid stability, and electrification.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, positioning Siemens Energy as a strategic partner.
- Engage with TSOs, DSOs, and industrial clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Execution & Coordination
- Lead and coordinate complex offers, working closely with factories, tendering, and execution teams.
- Promote a broad portfolio including High Voltage equipment, substations (AIS/GIS), Digital Grid, and Service solutions.
- Ensure high-quality proposals, competitive positioning, and successful contract negotiations.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Monitor and follow up opportunities in CRM systems, ensuring pipeline visibility and accuracy.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex B2B sales (energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors preferred)
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems (substations, transformers, switchgear, digital solutions)
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex sales processes and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach and ability to work independently
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid infrastructure, and high-voltage equipment (AIS/GIS)
- Understanding of Digital Grid solutions and energy service offerings
- Experience in complex B2B sales and commercial strategy development
- Skills in negotiation, contract management, and customer relationship management
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven autonomy, team collaboration, and strategic thinking
