Bulgaria’s power sector is entering a new era, driven by large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), renewable integration, grid modernization, industrial electrification, data centers, and the expansion of transmission networks. As Sales Manager within Siemens Energy Grid Technologies, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of the country’s energy infrastructure. By identifying high-impact business opportunities, building trusted customer partnerships, and positioning Siemens Energy as a partner of choice for innovative grid solutions, this position contributes to Bulgaria’s energy transformation and a more reliable, sustainable, and future-ready power system.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Shape and implement growth strategies for key customers and market segments while building trusted customer relationships.
- Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities from early market engagement through to contract award.
- Translate customer needs into tailored technical and commercial solutions through presentations, workshops, and solution development activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments to align expertise and deliver effective customer solutions.
- Contribute to commercial negotiations, risk assessments, and contract reviews to support competitive, well-balanced proposals.
- Ensure reliable sales forecasting, opportunity reporting, and CRM management, while supporting a smooth handover to execution teams.
What You Bring
- A completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of experience in the energy sector, ideally with exposure to high-voltage equipment, substations, transformers, or power system solutions.
- Proven expertise in sales, business development, account management, or technical solution selling.
- Strong commercial mindset, technical curiosity, and the confidence to communicate, present, and negotiate with different stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms would be beneficial.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to contribute effectively in an international, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel within Bulgaria and occasionally abroad, combined with very good English language skills.
