A Snapshot of Your Day
You will work as an SAP ABAP / UI5 / Fiori & OData Developer supporting and enhancing Finance BI Data Products. Your day will involve designing and developing SAP UI5/Fiori applications, building and optimizing backend ABAP logic, and exposing robust OData services. You will operate across the full SAP stack, from frontend user interfaces to backend business logic within SAP BW applications, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality delivery. Working independently and with stakeholders, you will contribute to resolving incidents, implementing enhancements, and continuously improving SAP-based finance data solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and develop SAP UI5/Fiori applications in line with enterprise standards.
- Develop, enhance, and debug ABAP programs supporting UI5 and backend applications.
- Design, expose, and optimize OData services using ABAP.
- Implement authorization concepts and backend validations.
- Handle change requests (CRs) and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and system stability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer (KT) materials.
What You Bring
- 5–8 years of professional experience in SAP development (flexible based on expertise).
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and AMDP, including reports, classes, function modules, and debugging.
- Solid experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori application development.
- Strong knowledge of OData service development and consumption.
- Experience integrating UI5 applications with ABAP backend logic.
- Experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, SAP Build, or side-by-side extensions) is an advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) or modern SAP data architectures is beneficial.
- Finance domain experience or exposure to BI/reporting solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps or CI/CD practices within SAP landscapes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with ownership of deliverables.
- Good communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
