As our new Regional Head of Sales Project Management, in Business Unit Offshore, you will be responsible for a dedicated group of international Sales Project Managers each leading one or more multi-disciplinary Offshore new turbine sales teams in a sub-portfolio market. Your group will be leading projects worth several hundred million Euros each, and you will be responsible for securing high quality standards during interaction with customers and senior management throughout the sales phase.
You will also be responsible for motivating, leading and coaching your group of highly professional and senior Sales Project Managers, ensuring their continuous development and strive to be the best in their field, just as you will help strengthen the team in this fast-growing market through recruitment activities and onboarding of new colleagues.
You will also be expected to contribute to competitive positioning and improvements of our offers and turbine supply contracts, and you will contribute to functional improvements as part of the global Sales Project Management organization (e.g. internal processes and tools) to create a best-in-class working environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Resource planning and project staffing, ensuring the right balance of employee experience/competence versus project risks.
- Implementation of sales strategy, policies and guidelines in line with the overall business strategy of your assigned organizational unit.
- Ensuring effective sales setup capitalizing on synergies in collaboration within and across other Offshore and Siemens Gamesa units (i.e. aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned approaches etc.)
- Ensuring an effective sales organization and communication to foster cooperation with other parts of the value chain (i.e. Customer Management, Product Portfolio Management, etc.)
- Agreeing on subordinated function related sales budget plans and setting and monitoring achievement of respective targets.
- Acting as point of escalation to solve project critical issues and problems.
- Hiring, onboarding, training, developing and upskilling assigned staff
- Heading regionally assigned sales organization and staff
What You Bring
- Graduated with Bachelor or above degree in Engineering, Business Administration related degree.
- Over 10 years of relevant working experience (including 3-5 years of wind industry experiences) with good project management & communication skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Have seasoned leadership and management skills to handle complex sales projects in multicultural teams with highly professional customers.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, manage expectations and perceptions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel.
