A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine being at the center of a dynamic supply chain, where your decisions directly influence material availability, supplier performance, and project success. As a Regional Buyer, you manage supplier relationships, procurement operations, and inventory planning across the region. You work closely with cross‑functional teams to align demand, ensure timely delivery, and maintain compliance with company standards. Your day blends operational execution with data analysis, helping you balance cost, quality, and risk while keeping the supply chain running efficiently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You assess supplier capabilities, performance, and quality standards, maintaining strong relationships to support reliable delivery and continuous improvement.
- You create, issue, and track purchase orders in SAP, following up with suppliers to ensure timely production, delivery, and resolution of delays.
- You monitor supplier risk and performance using tools such as SUPERIS, ensuring compliance with company specifications and international trade regulations.
- You manage inventory and material forecasting by coordinating with project operations and logistics to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- You analyze supplier performance, market trends, and cost‑saving opportunities to support procurement optimization.
- You handle non‑conformity cases (NCR) and support material return or replacement processes when required.
- You maintain accurate records of suppliers, pricing, and purchasing activities, ensuring data quality and transparency.
- You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to ensure smooth material flow and an optimized supply chain.
- You support import and export processes, preparing required documentation and coordinating with forwarders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably with Engineering background.
- You bring relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing operations within an industrial or project environment.
- You are familiar with supplier management, procurement processes, and materials planning.
- You have experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and are comfortable handling procurement data and documentation.
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or risks.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, working well with suppliers and internal stakeholders across functions.
- You are detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in managing tasks and resolving issues.
