A Snapshot of your day
The Quality Control inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, reporting and documenting the results to ensure efficient operations, on-time delivery, and alignment with customer demand. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct thorough inspections of HGPR products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and irregularities in products and processes.
- Perform tests and evaluations to verify that products meet established quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
- Apply different inspection tools and equipment to accurately measure and assess product quality.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including inspection reports and quality control procedures, while investigating root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
What You Bring
- Candidates must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have over 3 years of experience in product quality control.
- Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, such as Visual Inspection (VI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or Penetrant Testing (PT) at Level II is required.
- Advanced coating inspection experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of quality control principles, standards, and specifications are necessary.
- Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with collaborators, prioritizing tasks based on risk, and addressing potential delays in inspection timelines.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
