Title: Project Procurement Management Professional

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a Project Procurement Management Professional (Orlando, FL) to participate in project/sales meetings as project core team member to influence and optimize internal workflows and processes. Establish proper sourcing and procurement processes and utilize Ariba Spend Management and Orchestra to control all procurement resources and activities. Analyze customer inquiries during bid preparation / opportunity management phases to understand customers functional needs in order to include supplier innovations. Support project calculation with reliable material cost data using the tariff model format. Analyze scope of supply and contract agreements to carry out risk analysis and introduce negotiation recommendations. Analyze sales and operations planning with respect to starting new projects and assessing and controlling material costs within the procurement project business. Drive procurement strategies in projects and ensure implementation. Assist with contractual and price negotiations and assist specialist buyers responsible for particular material fields, specifically for Crane and Labor commodities. Clarify internal indicators for project controlling using SAPP system and compile all relevant information to submit qualified reports. Analyze data and report procurement performance based on project budget for relevant commodities. Responsible for budget definition and target creation for procurement area. Drive process to claim extra costs to suppliers during the project execution and support contract evaluation and negotiation. 10% - 15% domestic/ international travel required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Material Science Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience. Experience must involve 5 years in: resolving project related procurement challenges within a team while keeping focused on procurement rules and regulations; budget controlling and creating financial report; supplier claims utilizing knowledge of contract terms and negotiation strategies; contract negotiation. Experience must also include: project management; Ariba Guided Buying and Ariba Spend Management, SAP and Project Management systems such as Orchestra and SAPP; and crane and labor. 10% - 15% domestic/international travel required.
