As a Project Procurement Manager, you will integrate Procurement in the project management process and project business as well as tender teams at an early stage. You will coordinate, control, supervise and report all procurement activities in a project and introducing procurement strategies targeting maximum contribution to the operating result, reporting achievements, and guaranteeing the observance of the procurement processes described and optimizing deployment of resources.

How You’ll Make a difference

• Early Involvement: ensure involvement and support tender teams in an optimized supplier selection in an early stage
• Define procurement strategies for selected projects and ensure compliance with Corporate and Division-wide procurement strategies, as well as business relevant requirements. Safeguard their implementation to deliver optimum impact for the project and contribute to procurement targets
• Day to day" involvement in all relevant procurement activity; maintain record of all relevant activities and documentation
• Establishing proper sourcing processes and controlling all procurement activities and informing all involved in procurement to deliver optimum impact of cost-cutting potential (procurement plan, target-costing) and to meet requirements relating to deadlines and quality
• Ensure Procurement Reporting of achievements
• Guarantee understanding of relevant requirement of customer specification and requirements and apply in supplier negotiations and contracts
• Provide a cross-functional approach to all procurement activities to minimize risks and optimize Project results, in coordination with the project Manager
• Reports on the progress of procurement activities in the project, keeping all involved parties informed
• Actively participate to planning and project review meetings, contributing to the correct information flow
• Conduct Supplier Management Activities and apply defined strategies Supplier Management Strategies

What You Bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management or equivalent and several years’ experience in similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, fluent in Portuguese and English and a confident use of office tools complete your profile
• Outstanding negotiation skills and experienced in contract negotiations
• You are highly motivated, personally, you convince with high social competence
• Experience in e2e Sourcing and Procurement Platforms (SAP Ariba o. e.), e-procurement (eRFP, eAuction) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of P&L and Procurement Controlling Reporting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing techniques, result-orientation and strategic-innovative thinking required
• Strong team player, with ability to work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Advanced analytic skills, ability to think analytically, to carry out analyses and evaluations independently and deriving insights
• Experienced in working in cross functional and international teams
