A Snapshot of Your Day
The role of PMO for the GT DS leader (Vice President of Digital Services in GT) ensures coordination and success within the Grid Technologies Business Area. The main objective of an GT DS PMO is to provide transparency, flag risks but also coordinate activities around the major digital projects of, building a bridge between the project teams and leaders.
The role will be is divided into three core areas: Project monitoring, coordination & delivery for the major digital platforms of GT (S4E, Janus, MES, Salesforce etc), manage the adoption of digital solutions in collaboration with the GT business entities, and support of the GT DS team to enable business leadership and digital transformation. She/He acts as an interface between business entities, project teams and the GT DS organization, but also with the external Service Providers and the Corporate Departments (e.g. DC).
How You’ll Make an Impact
- This contains monitoring the progress and completion of deliverables at deadlines, creating transparency on risk and achievements incl. escalating when necessary, identifying gaps and initiate solutions, preparing reviews and communication.
- Maintain an execution roadmap and productivity reporting for the overarching project portfolio (distinct and non-distinct) in close collaboration with the GT DS GDA team.
- Co-develop a GT DS strategy increasing productivity and performance, consolidating already identified measures as well as AI echnology, and including KPI. Support its execution through the translation into OKR and drive its execution using monitoring tools.
- Support and coordinate budgeting and financial reporting activities, supporting and closely collaborating with FIN partner.
- Drive change management in daily activities of GT DS (employees, tools), with a strong focus on AI.
What You Bring
- University degree in information technology, computer science or related fields. Desirable MBA in Information Technology or Project Management/
- Professional experience in IT environment, project implementation or similar technology-oriented role. Strong AI understanding and competences.
- Experience in a manufacturing, Logistics, or operational environment is desirable
- Skills in project planning (Scrum and Waterfall), execution, change management, and process improvement
- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- Ability to collaborate and work in Matrix organization while owning and driving the topics you are responsible for.
- Technical knowledge and knowledge of IT systems and networks
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other countries
