A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Lead Engineer / Project Lead Engineer, you will be the technical owner of power generation projects from the tender phase through execution. Your day will involve developing technical concepts, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, and working closely with customers, suppliers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery. You will play a key role in steam turbine and turbine hall projects, helping turn technical requirements into practical solutions while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the technical scope of power generation projects, including steam turbines and turbine hall solutions.
- Develop technical concepts and prepare effort estimates during the tender and proposal phase.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and I&C engineering.
- Manage internal and external engineering resources, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Evaluate technical solutions, review engineering documentation, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Manage technical changes throughout the project lifecycle and support risk mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams.
- Support project execution, installation, commissioning, and successful project handover.
What You Bring
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in power generation, energy, or industrial engineering projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical project activities.
- Ability to understand and review process, piping, and mechanical documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to take responsibility for complex technical solutions.
- Experience with steam turbines, power plant technologies, piping standards, or engineering tools such as AVEVA E3D or AutoCAD Plant 3D is an advantage.
