A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our team as a Project Execution Engineer (m/f/d) Overhead Line Monitoring and play a vital role in enhancing utility infrastructure! You will provide pre-sales support and oversee the installation and deployment of Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) sensors and related software applications. Imagine leading projects that ensure the smooth delivery of overhead line monitoring systems, while also providing both remote and onsite maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in supervising Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of critical infrastructure systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise on Overhead line solutions, including DLR sensors and software applications
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and solution proposals for utility customers and lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of DLR sensors and associated software for overhead line projects
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure successful deployment and integration into existing infrastructure
- Supervise Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to validate system functionality and compliance with project specifications
- Provide both remote and onsite technical support for installed solutions, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Identify opportunities to enhance solution performance and contribute to the development of best practices for deployment and support
What You Bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in project execution, particularly within electric utility or critical infrastructure environments
- Hands-on knowledge of Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) systems and similar grid monitoring solutions is a strong plus
- Familiarity with cloud and on-premises deployment models, including system maintenance and security practices
- Ability to supervise testing processes (FAT/SAT) and manage technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for onsite support and client engagement as needed
