- Responsible for commercial aspects of Steam project execution including project cost controlling, margin analysis, sales forecasting and reporting of financial status for assigned projects/product portfolio.
- Maintain project financials from order entry through project closeout. Ensure proper revenue recognition, timely invoicing, and identification of financial risks and opportunities within area of responsibility.
- Provide financial support to Tendering and Order Management teams as needed to ensure quality and timely submission of Service quotes.
- Ensure accuracy of project books and records and maintain compliance with financial guidelines.
- Work closely with the finance team to align forecast developments; maintain communication with finance management regarding known deviations to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast.
- Develop annual budget, monthly forecasts, and provide variance analysis within area of responsibility. Support special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in finance/accounting
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS; strong skills in PC applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of revenue recognition, transfer pricing and related accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to identify issues and resolve them independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication skills and willingness to learn from others.
