The 5F portfolio team is looking for a Product Manager to champion 5F product integration, service portfolio strategy, and mature frame program lifecycle management.

As a 5F Product Manager, you will lead and champion product strategies to grow the fleet and protect the integrity and backlog of the operating fleet. You will work with a cross-functional team to implement new and service portfolio strategy programs through R&D, develop business cases with regional service units, and advocate for customer needs from the initial sale throughout the lifecycle of their power plants.

Your role involves working closely with both internal and external teams to improve asset profitability over the lifecycle of the units.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead product development programs for technologies, capturing features, functions, benefits, and risks while ensuring project control through planning and reporting (technical, budgets, schedule).
• Drive key innovation projects and look for new features and capabilities to improve the competitive position for 5F, 6G, 3E, and 251 products. Evaluate regulatory and energy transition trends to assess product needs for the operating fleet.
• Collaborate with multiple organizations, including regional service unit partners, to understand market requirements, communicate R&D project pipeline, business impacts, and customer benefit appraisals. Develop and implement strategic product roadmaps to assure lifecycle success of the portfolio.
• Monitor identified issues and contributed to robust root cause analyses, partnering with technical experts, sales, long-term program leads, and other product management teams to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Clarify business impact through continual cost-out efforts, parts consolidation, and state-of-the-art repair technologies for the greatest return on investment. Promote standardization programs and perform portfolio assessments.
• Travel and present technical capabilities of the portfolio to customer executives, investors, insurers, regulators, government officials, and others.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical Industrial, similar Engineering or in a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability of a clear understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods with experience managing complex projects.
• Professional experience in power generation equipment, gas turbines, and/or power plant design.
• Demonstrated expertise in gas turbine product engineering, including design, development, and lifecycle management. Strong understanding of the R&D development process and product development process.
• Leadership skills and a proactive approach. Strategic and critical thinking skills. A sense of personal accountability when it comes to decision-making and collaborating with global teams.
• English and Spanish at a professional working proficiency level. English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and collaborate across diverse and global organizations.
