Review of the annual shutdown plan in Spain and Portugal in order to define the purchasing strategy to follow. Supplier management, negotiation of framework agreements and drafting of contracts. Achievement of KPIs according to business objectives. Search for new sources of supply and coordination of scopes with other countries for pooling activities. Collaboration with the operational purchasing area for the issuance and monitoring of orders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define purchasing strategy
• Supplies in the best price and deadline conditions
• Compliance with Siemens Energy purchasing policies
• Coordinate purchasing activities with sales, execution, quality, financial and prevention teams
• Tracks purchase orders and keeps requesters informed
• Actively contribute to partnership with all other parties involved and convey all relevant information to improve the flow of material and value through the supply chain.
• Processes purchase requests based on demand and the requirements of the applicants.

What You Bring

• English language proficiency
• Experience in industrial purchasing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in SAP, with proven knowledge in order requisition and purchase order processing.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive in communication with the purchasing team, suppliers and internal collaborators
