Siemens Energy

During the summer internship you will get the opportunity to develop a project from idea generation to delivering a usable product that will create business impact by helping our team provide high quality quotes. This internship will provide mentorship, soft and technical skills training, and networking to learn more about the Siemens Energy organization and our Repair Center organization. You will also get an opportunity to see our products firsthand and learn about our inspection and repair processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Interview project stakeholders and generate an idea to address needs; obtain feedback and fine-tune project proposal
• Secure buy-in from key stakeholders and project sponsors
• Execute project plan and provide a deliverable that meets stakeholder requirements, including an implementation plan to ensure usage of project deliverable

What You Bring

• Rising sophomore or junior, or first year grad student pursing bachelor’s degree with a focus on Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office (word, excel, power point); Office 365 preferred
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment/internships or extracurricular activities
• Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA and have relevant prior work experience

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
