A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Primary Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You will engage in the design and documentation of high voltage (HV) systems, utilizing tools like Revit, PrimTech, and Inventor to create both 2D and 3D designs. Your expertise will contribute to the overall project plan, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality assessments. Imagine leading the design of onshore substations, collaborating closely with project managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet project-specific requirements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will design complete onshore substations using Revit and PrimTech, leveraging your knowledge of substation fundamentals while being supported by the overall Substation design lead from the TPM team.
- Verify designs and layouts according to legislation, norms, and standards, ensuring compliance with HV installation requirements above 1kVAC/1.5KVDC (IEC 61936) and earthing of power installations (EN 50522), particularly in accordance with local legislation in Denmark (BEK1114).
- You will select components and conduct electrotechnical design for AIS/MSCDN, including SLDs, layouts, sections, earthing, and lightning protection.
- Contribute to steel calculations and implement steel design, creating essential constructional data such as load calculations and constructional data documents.
- You will model and understand the requirements for oil-filled components, GIS, AIS, HV cables, AUX systems, and LV cables in trays, ensuring their effective integration into substation designs from both mechanical and layout perspectives.
- Create offer documents, including Visio files of SLDs, layouts, and sections for GIS designs.
What You Bring
- You have experience with Revit, PrimTech, and Inventor, enabling you to produce high-quality 2D and 3D designs.
- You hold an engineering degree and have at least 5 years of experience
- A strong understanding of high voltage systems, including AIS, GIS, and associated components, is essential for this role.
- You possess knowledge of local legislation and standards, particularly IEC 61936 and EN 50522, ensuring compliance in all designs.
- Your background includes electrotechnical design, including SLDs, layouts, and earthing systems, with a focus on practical implementation.
- You are skilled in creating constructional data and load calculations, supporting the structural integrity of designs.
- Willingness to travel to Denmark (once/month)
