A Snapshot of Your Day

Your typical day will involve analyzing the win/loss data of projects and using those to refine strategy, resolving optimal way to allocate your R&D budget to achieve the optimal results for the business, how to balance the needs of the energy transition vs more traditional growth areas. As part of this, you will need to effectively connect with a variety of external and internal partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive the global Reciprocating Compressor product portfolio management efforts.
  • Develop and adopt the Reciprocating Compressor product portfolio strategy according to market needs.
  • Explore future opportunities as part of the global Energy Transformation!
  • Supply the Compression Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) process.
  • Lead product requirements and engineering status!
  • Run the portfolio financial evaluations and business case.
  • Responsible for commercialization for new offerings and providing information to sales and proposal teams (e.g. Training).
  • Support the defined targets by looking constantly for development topics as well as be brave enough to release and implement decisions.

What You Bring

  • University degree in Engineering and a proven Business Development, Marketing, or Engineering background.
  • Broad knowledge of the lifecycle process of compression products, including relevant interfaces, milestones / Gates between phases, and to other related processes.
  • More than 10 years of experience in the energy business for Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Product Introduction.
  • Experience in Value Selling and similar selling tools/approaches.
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects, leading agile role is beneficial (Kanban / SCRUM).
  • Fluent skills in English.
  • Ability to connect and build strong networks as well as by high level presentation skills (internal and external).
  • Passion for new ways of working, making matrix structures work, as well as a strong strategic background.
  • Experience with Reciprocating Compressors is an asset.
