As a Performance Engineer Sales Support at Siemens Energy, daily brings forth new challenges and opportunities for innovation. You will collaborate closely with our Performance Group, centering on the thermodynamics of our products. Your tasks on a daily basis will consist of performance calculations, refining engine models, and providing support for R&D validation tests. You will directly observe how your efforts contribute to the flawless functioning of our gas turbines, impacting both our customers and the global energy landscape. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct performance calculations and refine engine models to ensure outstanding accuracy.
• Support R&D validation tests, contributing to the development of innovative technologies.
• Assist with performance predictions for sales bids, ensuring competitive and successful proposals.
• Monitor and analyze production engine performance statistics to maintain world-class standards.
• Develop and implement performance assessment and prediction methods to improve our capabilities.
• Provide performance expertise to various areas within the business, including Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Support.

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical), Mathematics, or a related field with a 2.1 classification or higher, or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Strong background in Mathematics and Physics, with excellent investigative and statistical analysis skills.
• Proficiency in performance modeling techniques and experience with Thermoflow suite of performance tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and VBA programming.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, confident communication, and the ability to present findings effectively.
• An active and goal-focused attitude, with a demonstrated history of working autonomously and collaboratively.
