Snapshot of Your Day! 
 
As a Package Engineer - Compressor Package & Installation Design you will be responsible within a global project team for the package and installation design of the entire compressor train consisting of driver, compressor and auxiliary systems. The scope of duties also includes the handling of components and systems within the compressor train, such as base plate and piping. 
 
The position offers many interfaces and varied and exciting challenges, as our product solutions are tailored to customer needs, and you will be working on new technologies and applications as part of the energy transition and decarbonization 
 

How will you make an Impact! 

  • Responsible for package engineering, design and the installation concept (layout). 
  • Ability to read and convert client specifications into manufacturing / purchase spec. 
  • Creation of Technical Concepts & special solutions pertaining to Package Integration and Layout. 
  • Prepare Technical Specification for compressor base frame, coupling guard, structures and platforms  
  • Creation of Bill of Materials for ordering of pipe and components  
  • Responsible for cross-functional collaboration & co-ordination for effective execution of project 
  • Plan, implement and support detail design engineering in collaboration with customers 
  • Lead / Support in preparing Checklist, defining processes, procedures, guidelines to ensure the quality of the documents. 
  • Responsible for quality, Budget & OTD for package deliverables 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 


What you Bring! 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 
  • Relevant experience of 5 to 10 years is expected in the field of Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications 
  • 3D modelling and drafting with UG - NX  (Mechanical Routing) & GloBus/Teamcenter. 
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter/Globus, SAP/AtlasKnowledge of mechanical design, plant and piping Design 
  • Knowledge of ASME, API and relevant internal and international standards. Knowledge – B31.3 / B 31.3 piping design 
  • Knowledge of products (Compressor, Turbine, cooler, lube oil unit etc.). 
  • Analytical skills, Good communication & Cross cultural skill set. Proficiency in English language.
